What HMMT Covers

• Competition algebra, inequalities, polynomials and functional equations
• Geometry, trigonometry, number theory and combinatorics at HMMT level
• Team-round communication, short-answer precision and rapid problem selection

Sample HMMT Prep Plan

• Begin with a HMMT diagnostic and check the current official format, scoring rules and eligible level.
• Weeks 3–5: learn priority concepts and solve untimed problems with written reasoning.
• Weeks 6–8: complete mixed sets under realistic time limits and review every missed question.
• Final phase: practise pacing, revisit an error log and complete a full-length mock when appropriate.

Common HMMT Mistakes We Help Students Avoid

• Preparing for HMMT using a generic or outdated format instead of checking the current official guidance.
• Using a memorised trick before checking whether it fits the problem.
• Practising only familiar questions instead of reviewing errors and weak topics.
