🎯 Our Exam Prep Approach

More Than Practice Problems

Our exam prep goes far deeper than drilling past papers. We build the conceptual foundation that makes every question feel familiar.

🔍

Diagnostic First

Every student starts with a mock exam diagnostic. We identify exact weak areas before writing a custom prep plan.

📐

Concept Mastery

We teach the underlying concepts, not just tricks. Students who understand deeply can solve problems they've never seen before.

📝

Timed Practice

Regular timed mock tests under real exam conditions. We build speed, accuracy, and exam-day mental fortitude.

🔄

Error Analysis

Every wrong answer is an opportunity. We analyze mistakes deeply, identify patterns, and eliminate recurring errors.

📈

Score Tracking

Progress reports track mock test scores over time. Parents can see improvement clearly, week by week.

🏅

Competition Mindset

We coach students on mental strategy, time management, and how to stay calm and focused on exam day.

❓ Common Questions

Exam Prep FAQ

How early should we start exam prep?
For competitions like AMC and Science Olympiad, we recommend starting 4–6 months before the exam. For SAT, 3–6 months is ideal. For state tests, 8–12 weeks of focused prep is usually sufficient.
Can my child do subject tutoring AND exam prep simultaneously?
Absolutely. Many students attend both regular subject classes and dedicated exam prep sessions. We schedule them separately so there's no overlap and each session has a focused goal.
Do you guarantee score improvements?
We cannot guarantee specific scores, but our track record shows consistent improvement when students follow the prep plan consistently. Most students see meaningful score gains within 6–8 weeks of dedicated prep.
Which grade should my child start AMC prep?
AMC 8 prep can start as early as Grade 4. AMC 10 prep typically begins in Grades 7–8. AMC 12 in Grades 10–12. Earlier is always better — the foundational skills take time to build.
Do you offer Science Olympiad coaching for all 23 events?
Yes. We have coaches who specialize in different Science Olympiad event clusters. We assign students to the events that best match their strengths and current school team needs.
